WE WANT YOUR OPINIONS!
Things are changing here at Fatt Projects. It’s been over 5 years since we formed, and since then we’ve done a lot… but the world has changed a lot too. Now we’re thinking about the future, and what our future could look like.
Over the next few years we want to work more locally in Birmingham (and keep sharing birmingham-made work with the rest of the country) - we want to build more structure, more resource, and more regular opportunities for our communities to come together, to have meaningful creative experiences; to breathe; to heal; to let loose.
And that’s where you come in - we want to hear from you about your experiences, and what you want and need.
Maybe you've belly laughed at Send in the Clowns, maybe you’ve joined us on the dancefloor at MOBILISE or Big Fatt Dance Party or Big Gay Disco Bike or Disco Tea Party or… (wow, we’ve done a lot of dancing). Maybe you’ve sang, crafted, played, swam, or talked with us at pool parties, choir concerts, at festivals, prides, or training workshops, or in back alleys. Maybe you’ve never actually been to anything but seen it online and thought ‘that looks alright, maybe i’ll go next time’. If that sounds like you, this is an invitation to share your feedback, your ideas and opinions and help us shape what comes next.
With that in mind, we’ve made two surveys: the first is our Community & Audiences Survey - for queer people in Birmingham, the wider midlands, and beyond who have come to our shows, taken part in our projects, or just know who we are and are interested in what we might do next.
The second is a Queer Artist & Practitioner Survey (that’s producers, performers, musicians, designers, makers, sweaty go-go dancers and overstretched community organisers - basically, if you think you’re a creative, so do we!). If you fall into both groups, we’d love you to fill out both surveys.
Closing date: 2nd July.
Each survey will take 5-10 minutes to complete.
To thank you for your time, we’ve got a £50 gift voucher for The Glaze Room in the JQ, Birmingham, and you can enter a prize draw by adding your email at the end of the survey, which will be randomly drawn on 6th July.
Follow the links above to complete the surveys.
Ta babs.
